About the Role
We are hiring a Production & Maintenance Manager for a leading cookware manufacturing company to lead and direct all production and maintenance activities, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety standards. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong technical background and proven track record in managing large teams within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities- Supervise all production and maintenance operations including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Lead and mentor the production & maintenance teams, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and quality standards.
- Analyze production data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with procurement, quality, and supply chain departments for seamless operations.
- Manage production and maintenance budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare periodic reports.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment readiness.
- Report regularly on performance metrics and provide recommendations to top management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 15 years of proven experience in production and maintenance management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
- Effective planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
