Production Department Manager

Management Role:

• Managing and leading production staff and operations to ensure safe and smooth operation within budgets and plans with minimum cost and high efficiency and required quality

Planning and Budgeting:

• Prepares the annual production budget and plans and approve on monthly production schedules and production orders and designs bills of materials to ensure resources timely availability, and the compliance with sales plans and targets with highest productivity and efficiency.

Know- How and Trouble Shooting:

• Acts as point of reference and know- how in terms of Tissue industry within the group, besides managing production problems in own area to ensure and solving smooth and efficient operation.

Analysis and Reporting:

• Prepares comprehensive production annual and semi-annual reports based on thorough analysis of various operations to ensure accurate tracking against budget and plans and process in progress.
• Prepare a monthly GAP ANALYSIS covering all gaps VS budget related to PR , WASTE, MU , STOPS

Sales Support:

• provides technical support to sales and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Quality, Research and Development support:

• Contribute to research and development efforts in relation to products and processes in order to establish new products and enhance improvement of existing products and processes.
• Make sure form the implementation of systems and procedures related to quality control

Materials Ordering and Receiving:

• Reviews and approves raw materials specs, and manages raw materials receiving committees to ensure purchases accuracy and compliance to specifications and make sure that all batches are closed without variances

Job Communication:

• Regular contacts with subordinates, managers, and Production Engineers in all tissue Plant areas to plan, discuss and agree operational technical maintenance requirements.
• Regular contact with Area Operations Manager to report on progress, seek advice and agree on forward plans.

Staff Motivation and Development:

• Motivates trains and appraises production staff in order to develop and maximize their efficiency.
• Prepare monthly reward and recognition event
• Prepare and review the training plan to develop his team based on team skills matrix

Team Meetings:

• Leads and participates in regular team meetings to impart wider appreciation of activities and to evaluate contributions

Systems and procedures:

• Establishes and maintains system and procedures for production processes to ensure systematic operations.
• Contribute effectively on IWS pillar and make sure that his subordinates are totally engaged in IWS pillars

Health Safety & Environment:

• Manages the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures that creates and instils an organisational culture that recognises employee safety and health issues, and the importance of protecting the company assets and the environment at any location where the Company has an operational presence.
• Responsibilities according to RACI matrix currently adopted in FINE Egypt.
