Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor the operation of production lines and resolve urgent technical or operational issues.

Oversee product quality and ensure compliance with standard specifications.

Prepare production schedules and assign tasks to workers and technicians.

Improve production processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Follow up on preventive maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure equipment readiness.

Submit regular reports to management on productivity, waste rates, and operational issues.

Adhere to occupational health and safety standards within the factory.

Contribute to the training and development of the technical team and workers.

Participate in quality improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (2+ years) in a production or manufacturing engineering role- wood industry

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and quality control principles.

Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing tools.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
