Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the production process for steel and aluminium fabrication, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing resources to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production equipment and machinery, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in production engineering, with a focus on steel and aluminium fabrication.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies.
- Project management experience.
