Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize daily production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality output of packaging films.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to resolve production issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing environment.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new equipment and technologies.
- Train and mentor production staff to enhance technical skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring production challenges.
- Drive initiatives for waste reduction, cost optimization, and sustainability within the production process.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the packaging or polymer industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to work in an onsite operational setting.
