Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Workshop Supervision

• Review and interpret engineering, fabrication, and shop drawings for structural steel works.

• Plan and supervise cutting, fitting, welding, grinding, assembly, and finishing operations.

• Prepare and monitor fabrication schedules aligned with project milestones.

• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material usage to meet delivery targets.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure fabrication works comply with ASME, AWS, ISO, and project specifications.

• Conduct dimensional checks, fit-up inspections, and coordinate NDT activities.

• Maintain fabrication records, welding logs, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

• Support closure of NCRs and continuous improvement of fabrication processes.

Project & Site Coordination

• Coordinate with design, procurement, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Provide technical support during erection, alignment, bolting, and welding at site.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors during execution and inspections.

• Support structural steel erection activities for buildings, infrastructure, and specialty works.

Health, Safety & Team Leadership

• Enforce strict HSE compliance across workshop and site activities.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.

• Lead and supervise technicians, welders, fitters, and helpers.

• Promote teamwork, discipline, and productivity within fabrication teams.
