Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure routine patrol inspection of manufacturing and assembly processes; verify non-conformances or problems in jobs in progress.
- Ensure product compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Ensure that employees follow safety requirements properly.
- Highlight improvements and suggestions related to quality and productivity.
- Implement and maintain safety regulations as per organizational requirements.
- Possess knowledge of standards for tools and components used in inspection.
- Implement various production processes such as Kaizen, 5S, etc.
- Oversee inspection and testing requirements for programming and software updates.
- Support the QC team in inspection and testing, and highlight and close observations.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior-level position.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
- Exhibit proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments (e.g., CMM, calipers, micrometers), showcasing technical skill and hands-on experience.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration.
- Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industries, exhibiting familiarity with industry standards.
- Possess a strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application, demonstrating the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
