Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily production operations for the detergents manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement production schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet output targets and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout the production process.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain rigorous product quality and resolve any production-related issues promptly.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
- Drive cost control initiatives and implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and best practices in all aspects of production management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in production management within the detergents or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional production teams.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
