Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A leading manufacturing group in the region is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee full-scale operations for Infrastructure Pipes and Plumbing Systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in polymer processing, extrusion, molding, and fabrication, along with strong leadership capability to manage high-volume production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across extrusion, injection molding, GRP fabrication, and assembly lines.
  • Develop and execute production plans aligned with demand forecasts and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs: OEE, downtime, scrap %, machine utilization, and output.
  • Ensure products meet industry codes and quality standards.
  • Drive efficiency improvements through process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Supervise and develop production staff including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
  • Coordinate closely with Planning, QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Procurement.
  • Maintain high standards of HSE compliance and enforce a safe working environment.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production performance reports.
  • Support new product development, tooling trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing, specifically in pipes and fittings.
  • Strong hands-on experience with extrusion (uPVC, HDPE/MDPE, PPR, PE-X) and/or injection molding.
  • Experience managing multi-line, high-output production facilities.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, BS, DIN, EN).
  • ERP experience is preferred.
