Production Manager

Description of the company and the position:

We are looking for a Production Manager for our leading client in its sector.

Its mission is to ensure the efficiency, quality and profitability of production operations.

Responsibilities:

Participation in the development of the production and investment budget for your perimeter

Contribution to the establishment of the monthly procurement program

Production and transmission of a monthly report on the activity

Analysis of customer orders and adaptation of product files

Launch and management of production orders (quantities, lead times, quality, resources)

Coordination of raw material flows and control of consumption (wood, glue, etc.)

Monitoring of daily production progress via performance indicators

Adjustment of the production plan in the event of contingencies or technical incidents

Ensuring compliance with time, cost and quality commitments

Rigorous application of quality management system procedures

Implementation of corrective actions in the event of productivity or quality deviations

Close collaboration with the Quality, Scheduling, Sales and Procurement departments

Monitoring and continuous improvement of Lean processes

Logistics optimization (stocks, supplies, load sharing)

Machine capacity assessment and human resources matching

Participation in the modernisation of the production apparatus and the adaptation of the industrial organisation in the light of market developments

Organization and supervision of the work of the production teams

Monitoring individual and collective performance

Supervision, support, motivation and skills development of employees

Ensures compliance with safety rules, procedures and standards

Profile :

Engineering degree (industrial engineering, production, etc.)

Proven experience of at least 5 years in industrial production, including the wood sector (furniture/kits) and an opening or experience in building materials (steel, aluminum, cement, plaster, tiles...).

Strong production management, continuous improvement, and team coordination skills

Ability to anticipate, react to unforeseen events and optimize resources
