Production Manager

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an accomplished and result-driven Production Manager with 15 20 years of experience in the fabrication and
heavy engineering industry , particularly within the oil & gas sector. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end
production process from planning and execution to quality assurance and team development.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, extensive knowledge of manufacturing practices, and a proven ability to
lead large teams while optimizing productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency through modern production methodologies including Kaizen ,
Lean Manufacturing , and continuous improvement strategies .

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Production Planning:
Develop, implement, and monitor detailed production schedules aligned with project timelines and client delivery commitments.
• Fabrication Oversight:
Supervise the fabrication process of structural, mechanical, and pressure equipment. Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications,
and international quality standards.
• Manpower & Resource Management:
Lead and manage a diverse production workforce. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery through effective
planning and delegation.
• Process Improvement (Kaizen & Lean):
Identify areas for operational improvements. Implement Kaizen , 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, enhance efficiency,
and improve workflow.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Maintain stringent QA/QC processes in line with ISO and industry standards. Liaise with the quality team to ensure non-conformities are
addressed and corrective actions implemented.
• Safety Leadership:
Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Champion a proactive safety culture on the shop floor.
• Project Execution:
Manage multiple fabrication projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, cost control, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Reporting & Metrics:
Analyze production data, prepare performance reports (KPIs, OEE, downtime analysis), and submit recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
Minimum 15 20 years of progressive experience in production/fabrication management within the heavy fabrication,
oil & gas equipment , or similar industries.
Proven success in managing shop floor operations, large teams, and production KPIs.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, AutoCAD, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Languages:
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is a plus.
• Certifications (Preferred):
PMP, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other relevant professional certifications.
