Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for managing all production activities that are directly related to production, to product quality standards to ensure that all products meet the mandated requirements and are in conformity with all documentation and traceability.

The production manager will also be responsible for measuring the indicators KPIs of production performance.

Responsible for setting up the operation of standard equipment in the machine shop, welding and assembly areas that are utilized to perform various operations process in connection with production of parts, assemblies and completed units.

Monitor and analyze productivity, efficiency and utilization of direct labor employees.

Responsible for maintenance and timely calibration of all employees and inspection tools utilized by direct reports.

Comply with all procedures required to provide the maintenance and controls.

Schedule the daily activities for the direct and non-direct labor workforce, complying with MRP, dispatch list and production schedules to meet customer deliveries.

Ensure that work in process is properly set up and manufactured in compliance with documented specifications and customer requirements as indicated on the work orders routing.

Manage engineering drawings, quality plans and welding specifications.

Provide technical assistance to other departments as needed for improving safety, quality and efficiency

Improve overall performance in the production department

Develop a team approach towards continuous improvement to maintain a safe and clean environment that exceeds management expectations

Support and mentor the development of novice production engineers

Assume commitment to HSE policy implementation to eliminate accidents and achieve zero harm through business operation.

Appraise performance PMS of own team.

Fulfill additional tasks and duties as per job requirements and as directed by line management.

Ensuring that the EnMS is established, implemented, maintained and continually improved.

Ensuring that the EnMS conforms to the requirements of ISO 50PHONE_NUMBER standard.

Implementing action plans to continually improve energy performance.

Reporting on the performance of the EnMS and improvement of energy performance to top management at determined intervals.

Establishing criteria and methods needed to ensure that the operation and control of the EnMS are effective.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSC in Mechanical Engineering Preferable Production.

18-21 Years of Experience.

Good technical background,

Previous production management and supervision experience

Experience with ISO 9000, 14001, 18001, TS16949 standards

Experience in machine shop operations, critical measurements and tight tolerances

Masters of Operations Management, Planning and Control or Lean Manufacturing.

Excellent in English language

Professional in reading Technical Drawing.

Ability to work under pressure.

Knowledge of manufacturing concepts.

Ability to grasp modern technology quickly.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects

Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in welding operations, welding procedures and welding qualifications

Computer literate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent Leadership & Management Skills.
