Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures, proactively identifying and resolving production defects to minimize waste.
- Manage and motivate production teams, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to foster a productive environment.
- Optimize production processes and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficiency enhancements.
- Monitor and control production costs, managing budgets and resources to maximize profitability and minimize expenses.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and procurement, to ensure seamless production operations.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics, identifying trends and making data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and material usage, ensuring adequate supply and minimizing waste of raw materials.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and implementing best practices in production.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Should have proven experience in implementing and maintaining quality control systems.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Must have a solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and manufacturing principles.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language proficiency is a plus.
