About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & supply chain coordinator to manage and optimize our production and inventory processes. This role will be based at our partner factory in Obour, Cairo, where our raw materials (including perfume oils and bottles) and finished stock are stored.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts, tracking production execution, following up on deliveries, and coordinating with the finance team to align on production-related costs. The role requires daily interaction with the production team, proactive monitoring of supply chain activities, and problem-solving to ensure smooth operations from raw materials to finished goods.

Key responsibilities

Inventory management

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts of oils, bottles, and other materials at the factory.
• Reconcile physical counts with system records to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking of critical materials.
• Provide regular inventory status updates to management.

Production coordination

• Follow up daily on planned production batches to ensure execution on time and according to specifications.
• Track filling schedules, bottling output, and packaging progress to identify bottlenecks.
• Confirm that production output matches planned quantities, filling volume accuracy, and correct SKUs.
• Verify batch numbers, labels, and packaging are aligned with production plans.
• Escalate production delays immediately and propose corrective actions.

Supply chain & logistics

• Track incoming raw materials (oils, bottles, pumps, boxes) and ensure timely delivery to the factory.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and handle follow-up on shortages or defects.
• Ensure proper documentation: delivery notes, GRNs, packing lists, batch sheets, and inventory transfers.
• Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods with logistics partners.

Finance coordination

• Follow up on production-related costs and reconcile with the finance team.
• Maintain accurate records of oil consumption, alcohol usage, wastage rates, bottle losses, and packaging material usage.
• Work with finance to align on cost per unit and monthly COGS.br> br>

Reporting & optimization

• Analytics abilitie to compile, analyze, and present data on inventory, production, and deliveries.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to inventory and production processes.
• Support implementation of best practices in supply chain management.
