Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities
- Operate flexographic printing machines for corrugated boxes and sheets.
- Set up printing plates, inks, anilox rollers, and machine parameters as per job specifications.
- Ensure correct color matching and print registration.
- Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments during production.
- Conduct trial runs and approve first-off samples before bulk production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot printing defects such as misregistration, ink smudging, uneven impression, and streaking.
- Maintain production records and report daily output.
- Coordinate with die-cutting, slotting, and finishing teams for smooth workflow.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of flexographic printing process in corrugated packaging.
- Understanding of ink systems (water-based inks preferred).
- Knowledge of printing plates, anilox rollers, doctor blade systems.
- Ability to read job cards and technical specifications.
- Color matching and quality inspection skills.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
