Job Description:


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Production Quality Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to manage and optimize operations in our CNC machine shop. This role involves ensuring uninterrupted production, maintaining high-quality standards, and overseeing CNC machine maintenance


Key Responsibilities:


Production:


  • Supervise daily CNC machining activities to achieve production targets.
  • Optimize machining processes for improved productivity and minimal downtime.
  • Manage manpower allocation and shop floor discipline.
  • Coordinate shift schedules and machine loading plans.

Quality Control:


  • Implement in-process and final inspection protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and ISO/TS documentation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain traceability and documentation for audits.

Maintenance:


  • Conduct routine preventive and predictive maintenance of CNC machines (VMC, HMC, Turning Centers).
  • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and ensure quick resolution.
  • Maintain logs of maintenance activities and coordinate with external service providers.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares and tooling.

Key Skills Required:


  • Practical knowledge of CNC operation, programming (Fanuc, Siemens), and process improvement
  • Familiarity with GD&T, quality tools, measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM)
  • Hands-on experience in TPM, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office

Preferred Candidate Profile:


  • 2 to 8 years of experience in a CNC machine shop (automotive, aerospace, or precision components)
  • Strong technical background with team management capability
  • Exposure to customer audits and certification processes (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
