Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and standards.
- Quality Control Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and standards for all stages of production.
- Issue Resolution: Identify defects or quality issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with production teams to develop corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Prepare and present reports on quality performance to management.
- Factories Management: Evaluate and monitor factories performance and work with factories to address any quality issues throughout the production phases.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve quality processes, enhance product durability, and reduce defects. Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Quality Assurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-1 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the apparel and fashion industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with textile properties, garment construction, and quality standards. Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Quality Assurance certification is a plus.
