Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities & Tasks

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

1. Pre-Production & Job Preparation
  • Validate the availability of all required documents (JFT, PCC, Drawings, etc.) prior to starting any new job in order to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.

  • Prepare Process Control Cards for new orders and relay them to the Team Leader or Production Engineers for approval to ensure consistent and smooth production.

  • Label leftover materials and mixed leftover formulations before dispatching them back to the warehouse or material feeding/mixing zones.

2. Machine Operation & Production Execution
  • Operate the machine as per the approved Work Instructions to ensure safe and smooth run ability.

  • Assign tasks to Helpers and Skilled Helpers to maintain an organized workflow and sustain 5S compliance around the machine and work area.

  • Troubleshoot machine or production issues and request support when needed to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

3. Quality Assurance
  • Check and sign winding samples, and relay them to the Section Team Leader for approval before forwarding to QC for inspection, ensuring quality at job startup.

  • Conduct regular checks on product quality and provide samples to QC for ongoing inspection throughout the shift.

  • Report any quality defects immediately to QC and the Team Leader for corrective action.

  • Verify and sign product labels and pallet labels to ensure adherence to the correct packing mode.

4. Maintenance Coordination
  • Complete the Repair Request form, submit it to the Team Leader for approval, and forward it to Maintenance for action.

  • Confirm the effectiveness of any maintenance intervention once repairs are completed.

5. Documentation & Reporting
  • Accurately complete the Production Report, documenting all production activities.

  • Input production data into the ERP system in a timely manner.

  • At the end of the shift, relay the completed Production Report to the Team Leader for verification and approval.

6. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices are implemented and maintained on assigned machines.

  • Report any discrepancies or deviations to the Team Leader or Supervisors immediately.

7. Food Safety
  • Ensure that cleanliness in the plant is always maintained at an acceptable standard.

  • Make sure that all shift activities align with hygiene policies and Food Safety requirements.

  • Promptly report any unsafe act or incident to the Team Leader.

8. Safety
  • Be fully familiar with health and safety procedures related to your job function.

  • Follow all NAPCO-IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labor rules and regulations.

  • Participate in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) initiatives and attend required safety meetings.

  • Attend all company-provided safety training sessions.

  • Report all incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or unsafe acts to your direct supervisor or to the camp boss in case the issue is related to accommodation.

  • Correct any unsafe conditions immediately when it is safe to do so.

  • Ensure all safety measures and precautions are in place before starting any task.

  • Refuse to perform work if unsafe conditions are present.

  • Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles before each use.

  • Be familiar with the emergency response plan and the location of first aid and fire-fighting equipment.

Job Qualifications & Competencies Education & Experience
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

  • Preferably acquired through a Technical Science degree or a High School certificate with a minimum of 1 year experience in the same field.

Special Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work alternating shifts.

  • Should be in good physical condition and capable of working in a high-stress environment.
