Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensures that all positions in production line are manned as standard. Reports any absenteeism and arranges for immediate substitute.
- Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees.
- Ensures that the manpower in each shift is fully utilized
- Ensures application of 3s and rules.
- Leading morning meeting from previous shift.
- Ensures that production overall targets are properly met. Keeps material and time wastage the minimum.
- Ensures full utilization of machines and equipment
- Implement to complete improve action as planned project with subordinated.
- Investigate main problem in own shift and making plan for improvement with Subordinate.
- Report urgent issue and continuous problems to Supervisor including JPSV. Handover to next shift leader. In case of big issue, reporting to Manager by email.
- Making shift leader report. (Safety issue,quality issue, big problem, none solved problem.)
- Implement factory Strategy and action plan within target period.
- Inspection Tools for machine,cleaning and maintenance.
- Directs and discuss high levels of safety awareness through employee participation, within area of responsibility, while at all times using lean principles, to drive a behavioral change.
- Enforces company safety rules and fire regulations and ensures a clean and safe work area.
- In case of fire or Emergency matter, evaluate subordinate and supervise people with MOP and QC team.
- Responsible for quality control.Adjust as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications with MOP and Quality Team. Rejects products that don t meet UCMENA QC standards.
- Making Factory claim Report with MOP and Operator A
- Inspection Facility (Osprey, Fan and next electric power)
- Revises and approve tally-material issuance and spare parts sheets in each shift.
- Approval Material reject report.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production Major)
- From 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong personality and leadership skills
- Very Good English language skills
- Excellent MS Office
- Manufacturing experience is a must (diaper industry preferred)
