Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring maximum efficiency and availability of all production equipment.
- Monitoring and controlling production parameters across all oil and gas production processes, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitoring and operating production facilities and wells.
- Demonstrated ability to shut down and start up wells, flowlines and plant systems.
- Coordinating the daily activities of production operators.
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
- Supervising chemical stocks, injections and associated results.
- Providing operator input and feedback into maintenance programmes and production planning activities to minimise impact on production.
- Investigating potential areas for improvement or modification to enhance production processes and water injection performance.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree or diploma in an engineering or technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Relevant production experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Solid understanding of the oil and gas industry, including all related production equipment and operations.
- Proven experience with maintenance procedures and operations.
- Strong data management skills and computer literacy.
- Decision-making ability.
- Commitment to excellence.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Active listening and receptiveness.
- Effective deadline management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Fluency in English (upper-intermediate level)
Degree or diploma in an engineering or technical discipline.
Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.
Relevant production experience.
