Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
You will lead a production shift team to deliver safe, high-quality output and meet production targets. You will coach operators, manage materials and equipment, and work with engineering, quality and supply teams to resolve issues quickly. Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead and coach a shift team of operators to meet safety, quality and production targets.
- Ensure correct materials and packaging are used and available for the shift.
- Monitor line performance and report issues to engineering and quality for fast resolution.
- Maintain accurate shift records, production logs and basic KPIs.
- Identify, support and follow up on corrective actions and continuous improvement ideas.
- Keep areas clean, audit-ready and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices and site standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years experience in a production or supervisory role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
-Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Strong communication and team supervision skills.- Practical knowledge of processing and packaging operations.
- Comfortable using basic IT tools for reporting; experience with SAP is an advantage.
Preferred Qualification:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience coaching and developing operators.
- Experience using continuous improvement tools or Lean methods.
- Familiarity with data integrity principles and ALCOA expectations.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with engineering for breakdowns and maintenance.
- Good command of English for documentation and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make clear, timely decisions.
