Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily shop floor operations to ensure production targets are consistently achieved as per plan and forecast.
Guide and supervise the production team to meet output, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
Optimize manpower utilization to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Ensure maximum equipment availability and drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Maintain high packaging quality standards while minimizing wastage of raw and packaging materials.
Implement and sustain housekeeping standards across the shop floor (5S practices).
Ensure production output meets defined quality specifications and compliance standards.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely servicing and optimal performance of machinery.
Monitor and manage operations using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
Liaise with external systems such as WMS and Domino printers for seamless production flow.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of European-origin machinery and automated systems.
Identify process gaps, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental policies across all operations.
Ensure timely reporting and investigation of any incidents, unsafe acts, or conditions
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation (mandatory); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 7+ years in FMCG manufacturing, preferably within UAE/GCC; exposure to bottled water or similar industry is a plus.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of FMCG operations with hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), WMS, and automated/European machinery.
Operational Skills: Good understanding of machinery maintenance, resource optimization, and production reporting tools (MS Office).
Leadership & Problem Solving: Proven ability to lead teams, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement preventive and continuous improvement solutions.
Behavioral Traits: Proactive, self-driven, safety-focused, and capable of managing complex operations with strong communication and collaboration skills.
