Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Plans/executes production schedules, selects machine run sequences, monitors input/output balance, troubleshoots mechanical/process issues swiftly, implements lean improvements (e.g., faster changeovers), and controls costs (raw materials, energy, labor).

Maintains product quality via image/clarity checks, and other standard checks; drives root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint resolution to reduce defects.

Leads teams: partners with HR on recruitment/onboarding, delivers safety/operational training, manages shift scheduling/handovers/attendance, oversees incentives/overtime/deductions, conducts reviews, and enforces safety protocols for a zero-incident environment.

Inputs daily data into ERP/Excel, generates reports on output, yield, waste, downtime, grammage (by product line), and equipment health; handles local/long-term planning, maintenance logging, KPI analysis, and improvement recommendations.

Skills: scheduling, problem-solving, team leadership/motivation, and decision-making under pressure.

Proficient in: Excel (analysis/reporting), ERP systems, and basic lean manufacturing/safety/environmental practices.

Excellent: communication, organization, and results focus on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Available for shifts/on-call during critical periods; able to perform shop-floor oversight.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Paper, or Industrial Engineering (or diploma with equivalent strong experience).

5 8 years in manufacturing, or related industry; 3 5 years supervising production shifts, teams, and equipment.
