Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple development projects simultaneously from concept through completion
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across internal and external teams
- Lead project workstreams including feasibility studies, entitlements, design, and construction
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
Development Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility analysis for new development opportunities
- Prepare financial models including pro formas, cash flows, and investment returns
- Analyze market conditions, comparable properties, and absorption rates
- Evaluate site conditions, zoning regulations, and development constraints
- Support acquisition due diligence and investment committee presentations
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as day-to-day client contact for assigned development projects
- Prepare client presentations, investment summaries, and progress reports
- Coordinate with municipality officials, architects, contractors, and consultants
- Support business development efforts and proposal preparation
- Manage consultant selection and contract negotiation processes
Strategic Planning & Advisory
- Provide development advisory services to institutional and corporate clients
- Support portfolio planning and asset optimization strategies
- Analyze highest and best use scenarios for existing properties
- Contribute to market research and investment strategy development
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, Architecture, or Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Real Estate, MBA, or related advanced degree
- Experience across multiple asset classes (office, industrial, retail, multifamily, mixed-use)
- Knowledge of construction processes, entitlements, and development approval procedures
- Familiarity with ARGUS, Yardi, or other real estate software platforms
- Understanding of capital markets and real estate investment structures
- Experience with public-private partnerships or municipal development projects
