ROLE SUMMARY

The Program Officer plays a critical execution role in the design, coordination and delivery of Renew Capital s startup and ecosystem programs. This role sits at the operational core of program implementation, ensuring that activities are delivered on time, to a high standard and in alignment with program objectives, stakeholder expectations and compliance requirements.

The Program Officer works closely with program managers, founders, mentors, partners and internal teams to coordinate program activities end-to-end, support founder engagement and maintain strong documentation, tracking and operational discipline across cohorts.

Responsibilities:

The Program Officer s responsibilities are focused on four core areas:

1. Program Execution & Operations

• Execute startup program operations end-to-end, ensuring activities are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate program calendars, sessions, masterclasses, workshops and cohort-wide activities.
• Support logistics and operational readiness for program events, including sessions held outside standard working hours when required.
• Demonstrate flexibility and ownership by supporting tasks beyond the written scope as needed.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

• Support startup sourcing and intake workflows, including application tracking, follow-ups, selection support and onboarding.
• Coordinate mentors, coaches and subject matter experts, including outreach, scheduling, briefing and session preparation.
• Support ongoing engagement with ecosystem stakeholders, including partners, institutions, experts and founders.

3. Tracking, Documentation & Reporting

• Track program progress and key execution metrics, including attendance, engagement, completion rates and milestone achievement.
• Maintain structured documentation and program records in coordination with the program team.
• Support compliance, audit and reporting requirements through strong documentation and operational discipline.

4. Continuous Improvement & Internal Collaboration

• Contribute to improving internal tools, templates and workflows to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment across program objectives, delivery and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, consulting, startups, venture capital or entrepreneurship support.
• Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Comfort working with founders, senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong written communication skills and documentation discipline.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and follow-through.
• Languages: Fluent in Arabic, French and English (spoken and written, mandatory).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with accelerators, venture studios, entrepreneurship programs or ecosystem initiatives.
• Familiarity with KPI tracking, cohort monitoring, and structured performance reporting.
• Experience operating in compliance-heavy environments, including public programs, donor-funded initiatives or financial services.
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace and HubSpot.
