Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage one or more projects throughout the full project cycle, from planning and development to implementation, monitoring, and completion.
  • Develop project ideas, design project proposals, concept notes, budgets, log frames, and timelines.
  • Identify and coordinate with partners; support partner assessments and capacity-building activities.
  • Conduct partner trainings and facilitate review meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Coordinate with partners on activities, timelines, and progress; provide guidance on implementation challenges.
  • Monitor project budgets, track deviations, and coordinate budget adjustments or activity changes.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation visits, document findings, and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Support knowledge management by documenting lessons learned, best practices, and project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and donor requirements, including reporting and audit processes.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor implementation.
  • Maintain project data in management systems (ERP/online tools) and ensure timely forecasting, reporting, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Project Management, International Development, or a related field.
  • At least 2 4 years of experience in project management within the NGO/INGO sector or equivalent.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (log frames, ToRs, iPCM, monitoring tools).
  • Experience in budget management, financial tracking, and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adaptable, culturally sensitive, detail-oriented, and committed to organizational mission.
