Roles & Responsibilities


Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Ensure alignment of budgets with project and corporate objectives.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making .

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Conduct variance and performance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

Present clear financial summaries, KPIs, and trend analysis to senior leadership.

Oversee the secure allocation, transfer, and reconciliation of funds in multiple currencies.

Manage funding inflows across projects and ensure compliance with financial agreements.

Liaise with auditors, ground treasury and funding agencies to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Track contract-based funding, ensuring all inflows reconcile with deliverables and milestones.

Review financial terms in contracts and ensure adherence to contractual funding conditions.

Support the finance , PM, and commercial teams in ensuring compliance with international financial regulations and internal controls.

Manage risk related to currency exposure, and funding delays.

Collaborate with internal departments (operations, procurement, commercial, and project management ) to align financial strategy with business goals.

Engage with external stakeholders including auditors, funding bodies, contractors, and government entities.

Serve as a financial liaison for external reporting and compliance requirements.

Enhance financial processes and reporting systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.

Lead digital and automation initiatives for financial tracking and multi-currency reporting.

Ensure all integration activities support sustainable long-term growth and profitability.

Oversee end-to-end debtors management, ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and minimal overdue balances.

Implement group-wide debtor control policies and credit management frameworks during integration.

Monitor debtor ageing, credit exposure, and cash collection performance across all business units.

Partner with Commercial, finance project team and Operations teams to align invoicing schedules with contract milestones and payment terms.

Ensure full compliance with UK and KSA VAT regulations, including accurate accounting.

Communicate change effectively and support local finance teams through training, coaching, and transition planning.

Mentor and develop finance professionals to build expertise in integration, compliance, and performance management.

Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, (Master s preferred) and SOCPA Membership .

Professional qualification (CIMA, SOCPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Minimum 7 10 years of progressive experience in financial management or project accounting.

Experience managing funding and reporting in multi-currency, multi-contract environments.

Advanced Excel and ERP (SAP or similar system) proficiency.

Demonstrate a good knowledge of the role of Finance in the business

A motivated worker with practical experience of dealing with issues in a pro-active manner

Ability to deliver quality outputs within agreed timescales

Good communication and interpersonal skills including business level English language (communication & writing)

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
