Project and Plant Head

1. Strategic Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term manufacturing and project strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

• Lead factory capacity planning, expansion, modernization, and relocation initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement programs focused on productivity, cost optimization, and sustainability.

• Establish and monitor KPIs aligned with organizational goals.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, environmental, and industry standards.

2. Operations & Process Management

• Develop annual production and operational plans, including forecasting, manpower planning, and budget control.

• Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

• Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

• Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, utilities, and raw materials.

• Implement lean manufacturing and process optimization initiatives.

• Conduct process studies and cost-benefit analyses for operational improvements.

• Lead troubleshooting and crisis management in plant operations.

• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and HSE standards.

• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives.

3. Projects Management

• Lead planning and execution of factory expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.

• Prepare and manage project budgets, including Capex planning and utilization.

• Ensure timely project completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for approvals and certifications.

• Ensure effective manpower and material planning for project execution.

• Conduct feasibility studies for new investments and equipment upgrades.

4. R&D / New Product Development (NPD)

• Define and drive long-term R&D strategies aligned with business growth.

• Lead development of cost-effective formulations and raw material optimization.

• Supervise pilot trials and scale-up for industrial production.

• Collaborate with Marketing on new product initiatives and integrate market feedback.

• Oversee packaging development in coordination with Quality and Procurement.

• Maintain product quality specifications and process standards.
