Overview:

Gulf Asia is currently hiring for a highly experienced Project Control Manager with a proven track record in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in managing Construction projects at site locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of project control processes, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Previous experience in the Middle East project sites is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the Project including scope of services, conditions of contract, project specification Project execution plan, Project schedule and the company scope of work. Verify and ensure completeness of the scope of work associated with the project.
• Review productivity reports and generate trends and comparison statement with reference to budget norms to take preventive measure on time to maintain project on track.
• Make presentations on schedule and cost related tasks to management and client
• Review process maps and work instructions for critical processes and approve
• Manpower / plant and machinery resource loading for the work break down structure loading enable to review EVA (Earned Value) periodically or monthly basis / as and when required to corrective measure.
• To extract procurement schedule plan related for the main activities as per the approved base line to have periodical project team internal coordination meeting with project team and provide early signals to team.
• Scrutinize on regular intervals for any slippage from the base line program and issue notification to the PM on weekly basis and coordinate with him to identify the root cause of the issues and prepare mitigation plan to overcome the bottlenecks are within the limit by optimizing the resource usage and take corrective measure on right time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• 15 - 20 years of progressive experience in project controls, with a focus on Oil & Gas Construction projects.
• Proven experience in the Middle East project sites is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
