Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project control procedures to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, facilitating successful project execution.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced scheduling tools, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on critical timelines.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to identify deviations from the project plan, enabling proactive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to forecast project costs, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
- Establish risk management protocols to identify and mitigate potential project risks, safeguarding project viability.
- Lead project control meetings, fostering open communication among team members to address issues promptly and maintain project momentum.
- Utilize earned value management techniques to assess project performance and inform decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining high quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the documentation of project control processes, creating a repository of knowledge for future projects.
- Train and mentor junior project control staff, cultivating a skilled team capable of managing complex project requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience with project management software and tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, indicating technical proficiency.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data sets and generate insightful reports.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a distinct advantage.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project conditions.
