Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the project control section, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring for all assigned projects.

Develop, implement, and maintain project control systems, procedures, and best practices to support project delivery and organizational objectives.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish project baselines, monitor performance, and identify variances.

Prepare detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and company standards.

Analyze project data to forecast trends, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Generate and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management and project teams.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all project control activities.

Mentor and develop junior project control staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Support the preparation of bids, proposals, and contract documentation by providing accurate project control inputs.

Drive the adoption of digital tools and technologies to enhance project control efficiency and data accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project controls within the construction industry.

Proven track record in leading project control teams on large-scale residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management methodologies.

Proficiency with project management and control software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Solid understanding of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and industry best practices.

Experience in mentoring and developing team members.

Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
