Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, track, and control all project activities within the Telecom ISP domain to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets, BOQs, and CAPEX/OPEX plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and implementation teams for project data consolidation.
  • Prepare detailed financial and progress reports aligned with project KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel-based visual reports for management review.
  • Conduct cost variance, budget trend, and performance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Validate and maintain data integrity across project tracking and reporting systems.
  • Identify and report gaps, risks, and discrepancies for preventive and corrective action.
  • Support the automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Track contractor performance and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Generate executive-level summaries and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to monitor project progress.
  • Assist in preparing monthly forecasts, utilization, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure transparency and consistency in all project control documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and visualization insights.

Desired Candidate Profile

Position Objective:

  • The Project Controller is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting all project activities to ensure alignment with established objectives and budgets.
  • Involves developing and maintaining project schedules, preparing financial and progress reports, analyzing cost trends, and identifying data inconsistencies or gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to support budgeting, CAPEX planning, and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tools is essential for generating accurate, timely, and insightful project reports.
  • Proficiency in data visualization, reporting automation, and advanced Excel functions is essential for generating accurate and timely insights
  • Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills are critical to ensuring transparency and effective project control.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in project control, cost management, or reporting roles within the Telecom ISP/OSP industry.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and cost control principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, formulas), and other data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in data management, reporting automation, and project performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools and database systems for progress monitoring and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex project data effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure while maintaining report accuracy and timelines.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and knowledge transfer capabilities within multi-disciplinary project environments.
