Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

SETS is on the look for a Project Controls Department Head to join its Monitoring Department in Madinah .The jobholder reports to the Monitoring Department Director.

Develop and implement an integrated project plan, manage changes, and accurately define project scope in terms of items and timelines, identifying the technical aspects necessary for work execution

Estimate project times and deadlines, prepare schedules using software and applications for work schedule development, where tasks, execution periods, and available resources are defined

Manage project costs and required resources, including planning and managing human and material resources, equipment, and labor, and estimate expected costs with cost engineers and relevant engineers while monitoring expenditures

Develop and implement a communication plan with all project stakeholders, ensuring a basis for distributing information and publishing project status updates

Prepare and present specialized documentation, dashboards, and reports on construction and engineering works and projects and save them in the database according to approved policies and procedures

Develop work methods and procedures, keeping up with technical advancements

Ensure full familiarity with the outputs of various project phases (study design bidding implementation initial and final receipt)

Work with relevant department stakeholders to ensure the application of the approved stage gate model according to the project management guide

Communicate with relevant department stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or highly related field with at least 10 years of experience in monitoring, and management of similar comprehensive projects

Experience working in Project Management Offices (PMOs) or assuming senior project controls roles within PMC or Owner Representative contracts

Experience in performing and managing key project controls functions, including scope, cost, schedule, contracts, and risk management. And experience in reporting on these areas in the form of reports, meetings and presentations, and dashboards

Solid understanding of the team's area of expertise to provide guidance and support

Strong leadership and management skills, delegation, performance management, motivation, and the ability to build and maintain a high-performing team

PMP from PMI (Mandatory)

PRINCE2 from Axelos

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt

Portfolio Management Professional (PMI-PfMP)

Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) from AACE

Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
