Roles & Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Director to join our Design Division based in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for leading the design delivery of large-scale residential developments. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of design - from concept through detailed design and contruction documentation - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design and technical standards.

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Design Leadership & Delivery

    • Lead the end-to-end design delivery process across multiple large-scale residential projects.
    • Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project stages (concept, schematic, detailed design, IFC).
    • Oversee coordination between architecture, interior design, landscape, and engineering disciplines.
    • Review and approve design packages to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.

    Project Management

    • Develop and manage project timelines, design programs, and deliverables.
    • Monitor progress against milestones and proactively address risks and delays.
    • Ensure adherence to project budgets, scope, and contractual requirements.
    • Implement best practices in design management and delivery processes.

    Stakeholder Coordination

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams on design-related matters.
    • Lead design presentations, workshops, and reviews with clients and stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with external consultants, authorities, and contractors to ensure smooth approvals and execution.

    Technical Oversight

    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
    • Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design and coordination issues.
    • Oversee preparation of high-quality construction documentation.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of architects and design managers.
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performance design culture.
    • Allocate resources effectively across projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 20 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor and Master degree in Architecture.
