Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Take overall strategic accountability for project delivery, overseeing the planning, execution, and closing phases.
  • Lead the financial performance of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with clients, operators, consultants, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide high-level leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, manage risk across all phases of development, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide the successful delivery of a luxury hotel or integrated resort project from inception through to completion and handover.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and performance metrics to ensure the project meets brand and operational expectations.
  • Coordinate internal and external teams across architecture, engineering, construction, and operations for seamless project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 17 years experience in project leadership roles, with at least 5 years serving as a Project Director.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale luxury hotel or integrated resort developments.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in cost management, budgeting, and commercial oversight.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct large, cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage complex, fast-paced projects while maintaining a focus on quality, timelines, and risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with international hotel brand standards and large-scale project delivery in multicultural environments is preferred.
