Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Independently determines project scope, performs product evaluation, drafts testplan and define samples requirements by analyzing client request and standard s requirements.

  • Autonomously determines project s effort and time scheduling.

  • Communicates with clients to share scheduling progresses, explain UL procedures and requirements, discuss technical issues.

  • Interacts with laboratory activities by preparing testing documentation and instructions to lab technicians.

  • Provides technical assistance to laboratory and/or field staff.

  • Proposes development of new and/or revised UL requirements.

  • Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.

Desired Candidate Profile

University Degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronical Engineering.

  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of HVAC-R products
  • Knowledge of Energy Efficiency test protocols (e.g. AHRI) for HVAC products is a plus/span>
  • Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline (HVAC/R)./span>
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and electrotechnical principles
  • Ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with international customers and colleaguesu>.u>
  • Availability to travel to visit our customers units (30% of your time).
