Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform dynamic, transient, and steady-state studies for transmission and distribution networks, including:
Grid stability analysis (voltage, frequency, rotor angle stability).
Short-circuit, load flow, and contingency analysis.
Renewable integration studies (wind, solar, hybrid systems).
Develop mitigation strategies and stability recommendations for complex power systems.
Model and simulate large industrial loads, bulk power consumers, and interconnection points.
Conduct protection coordination and system reliability assessments.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for customers, EPCs, and regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with internal teams on project execution and proposal development.
Stay updated on grid codes, compliance standards, and emerging technologies.

This job might be for you if:

Electrical Degree or Master's in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems specialization).
Min 4years of experience in power system studies and analysis.
Proficiency in PSCAD, PSS E, and familiarity with other tools (ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory preferred).
Strong understanding of:
Dynamic and transient stability.
Voltage and frequency control strategies.
Renewable integration challenges.
Proven ability to present technical solutions to customers and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with HVDC systems, FACTS devices, and grid modernization projects.
Knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards related to power system studies.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to skill development programs.
