ROLE
The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, construction, and fit-out of supermarket projects. The role involves managing contractors, monitoring on-site progress, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and brand standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and coordinate construction and fit-out works for new and existing retail stores.
• Review drawings, layouts, and materials to ensure compliance with design.
• Manage and communicate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and progress; report regularly to management.
• Ensure adherence to quality and contractual requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 5 10 years of experience in construction or retail fit-out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to handle contractors and contracts.
• Good understanding of MPW Conditions of Contract and FIDIC.
• Able to review and discuss project schedules.
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera for scheduling and planning.
• Excellent communication and coordination skil
