Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Project Engineer will support the management and delivery of projects, ensuring scope, time, cost, and quality objectives are consistently met. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and in compliance with safety, contractual, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control project scope, preventing scope creep through effective approvals and documentation.

  • Support in preparing and implementing risk management plans to mitigate cost overruns and project delays.

  • Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards.

  • Arrange and attend progress meetings, tracking contractor and consultant performance against schedules.

  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are implemented, including proper use of PPE and compliance with storage protocols for materials.

  • Coordinate with authorities to secure required NOCs and permits for project execution.

  • Review and approve contractor and consultant organization charts, ensuring deployed staff qualifications meet requirements.

  • Manage project documentation at close-out, including as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.

  • Provide project progress updates and reporting to senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Electronic Engineering or Construction Engineering (Master s degree preferred).

  • 3 6 years of experience in project management, construction, or engineering.

  • Experience in managing multiple tasks, timelines, and project documentation.

  • Project management certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Solid understanding of risk, issue, and change management in project delivery.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors/consultants.
