Project Engineer (Interior Fit-Out)

Plan, manage and coordinate day-to-day fit-out project activities.

Review all issued drawings; raise RFIs and markups before work starts.

Ensure execution of works as per project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Prepare and review method statements and work sequences for key elements (marble, joinery, bathrooms, ceilings).

Provide setting out, levels, dimensions and technical guidance to Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Coordinate with MEP and other subcontractors to resolve drawing and site clashes.

Conduct regular technical inspections, record snags, and ensure rectification in timely manner.

Support QS with progress measurement, variation claims, and as-built information.

Manage site execution and quality control of high-end finishes (marble, bespoke joinery, bathrooms, ceilings).

Monitor project schedules, track progress, and prepare regular reports.

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Oversee site inspections and compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Manage project resources effectively and resolve technical site issues.

Support project manager in ensuring timely completion and handover of the project.

Prepare technical site reports for project manager (photos, issues, RFIs, decisions required).

Lead the site team including supervisors, team leaders and workers.

Lead all internal and external meetings; and discussions to be properly recorded with actions and deadlines.
