Engineer - Projects

Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering

4 to 7 years exp

Assist in the execution of transmission projects by supporting project planning, design review, and stakeholder coordination. Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations while providing technical assistance in managing transmission networks, including 132kV and 400kV substations and cable routes.

Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of transmission projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications. Apply project management professional (PMP) methodologies for effective project delivery

Technical Assistance: Support in reviewing and analyzing technical designs for 132kV and 400kV substations, cable routes, and overhead transmission lines

Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all project activities comply with local and international regulations and safety standards.

Risk Monitoring: Identify potential project risks and report findings to the Senior Engineer for timely resolution.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical reports and maintain project records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with DEWA standards.

Site Inspections: Participate in field visits to assess project implementation and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Strong Technical knowledge of transmission networks, SAP, MSProject, Privimera and project management tools.

PMP (Project management professional ) is preferable.
