Project Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Project Manager in project hand-over, project initiation and preparing the project execution plan &
strategy in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and follow up with internal and external stakeholders such as the client, consultants, partners,
manufacturers, supplies, sub-contractors, Engineering, Design, SCM, Site and other teams.
Assist Project Manager in preparation of Project Procurement plan and Project Schedule based on Project
contractual scope, cost, and project milestones.
Coordinate with Engineering, Design, SCM and suppliers/sub-contractors to conclude the offers for materials &
services and creates the Purchase Requisitions and supports in the issuance of Purchase Orders in coordination
with PM and Project Controller. Ensures to follow up the deliveries in accordance with the agreed dates.
Follow up with the Engineering, Design for timely submission of the technical/Design documents & Drawings and
coordinate with the Client/Consultant for responses/approvals in accordance with the contract.
Attend and coordinate the meetings with Client, Subcontractor/Suppliers and with internal/external stake holders
to proactively conclude the matters and subjects and follow up with the concerned for the relevant action items.
Prepare, follow-up and coordinate with the concerned for the project revenues, cash flow and invoicing.
Coordinate and contribute to ensure that the contractual/agreed Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports are prepared and
submitted to the relevant internal & external stake holders on due dates.
Assist the project manager to manage scope changes in a systematic and controlled manner, assess their impact
on project scope, schedule, cost.
Participate proactively in identifying, evaluating, and managing project risks & opportunities through project
management skills and techniques.
Follow and promote required standard of Quality & HSE, practice, implement the core values of Integrity,
teamwork, respect, transparency while being solution oriented with a strong focus on customer s satisfaction.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Basic Project Management Skills.
Effective time management, communication skills and multitasking.
Proficient in MS Office.
Knowledge of PRIMAVERA, MS Project.
Strong analytical skill and demonstrated Negotiation skills.
Detail oriented and customer centric.
Problem-solving skills and approach.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 7+ Years of experience preferably Projects for Substations/Control Centers.
