Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

o Reviewing HVAC and Plumbing drawings received from the external consultants.

o Quantity take off and arrange the material in coordination with the procurement department o Advice the installation team HVAC(Ducting and chilled water piping system) and Plumbing (Water supply and drainage systems). Firefighting system complete knowledge must.

o Arrange the site walk with MEP team and related civil teams to resolve the site coordination. o Raise the RFI and RFP in case of any discrepancies in the drawings received from consultant. o Coordinate with supplier for the material, specification, material submittal and sample submittal. o Raise the WIR and get it approved from the consultants.

o Prepare the work plan for the sub-contractors to achieve the target.

o Certifying the subcontractor bill by verifying the work completed by them.

o Co-ordinate with the civil team for ceiling clearance after proper installation of the MEP high level services.

o Attending weekly progress meetings. o Clear the SOR and NCR’s on time by properly guiding the team. o Attend the meetings with consultants for regarding the drawings and the Material submittals. o Submission of the As-built drawings for the consultant approval.

o Testing and commission of the HVAC systems (Air balancing and flushing of the chilled water systems).

o Guide the team for the regarding the installation of the mechanical equipment such as FAHU, Fans and Pumps

o Testing and commission of the mechanical equipment and handover to the FM team.

Desired Candidate Profile

o Batchelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

o Must have experience into HVAC, Plumbing & Fire fighting systems at the site from inception to execution.

o Yellow belt- lean construction o Good knowledge about the MEP systems o Project management o Organization and Time Management o Teamwork o Collaboration
