Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical system design, ensuring compliance with project specifications and engineering standards, and proactively identifying and resolving design conflicts.
- Manage the procurement process for mechanical equipment and materials, including vendor selection, bid evaluation, and negotiation to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and enforce adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to facilitate effective communication and resolve technical challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
- Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license or is actively pursuing licensure, showcasing a commitment to professional development and ethical standards.
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industries, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Demonstrates experience in the oil and gas industry, showcasing the ability to tackle complex projects with a proven track record of successful project execution.
