Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – MEP to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project execution, site coordination, technical supervision, quality control, and ensuring timely completion of MEP activities in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage MEP installation activities on-site.
Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within approved timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and snagging activities for MEP systems.
Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other engineering disciplines to resolve site clashes and technical issues.
Prepare project schedules, daily/weekly progress reports, and technical documentation.
Monitor material procurement, delivery, and usage on-site.
Assist in cost control, variation management, and resource planning.
Support project handover and closeout activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of MEP project engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
Experience in construction project execution and site coordination.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
UAE/GCC experience preferred.
