Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations for efficient project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, monitoring their performance, and resolving any conflicts to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, identifying and rectifying any deficiencies to ensure work meets required standards and client expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings, for accurate record-keeping and project tracking.
  • Monitor project budgets and control expenses, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective actions to maintain financial viability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing potential hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Review and approve material submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and coordinating timely delivery to avoid delays.
  • Manage the procurement of site materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery to support project progress.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, offering solutions to technical challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Hold relevant professional certifications, such as PMP or PE, demonstrating commitment to professional development and industry standards.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in construction projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Exhibit proficiency in using construction software, such as Auto CAD, Revit, Primmavera or similar, enhancing design and project management capabilities.
  • Show strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, enabling prompt and effective resolution of project challenges.
  • Be physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions, essential for site-based roles.
