Project Engineer - Telecom Alaberah

Support and oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.

Collect, compile, and analyze data from various project sites to track daily/weekly progress against baseline schedules.

Maintain accurate project inventory logs, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure sites are adequately equipped to avoid delays.

Assist in project costing, budget tracking, and the timely preparation and submission of project invoices.

Generate comprehensive project progress reports and technical presentations for internal management and external clients.

Utilize MS Project to maintain and update project schedules, and use MS Visio to create or review basic network topographies and project flowcharts.

Ensure all project documentation (RFIs, submittals, handover documents) is neatly organized, compiled, and archived securely.

Act as a proactive point of contact for clients, handling inquiries with professionalism and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Facilitate clear and consistent communication between site supervisors, field technicians, subcontractors, and senior management.

Solid foundational knowledge of Telecommunication components, specifically focusing on Fiber Optic and UTP cabling and infrastructure.

Strong understanding of project management principles and the standard project lifecycle.

Good proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, and MS Project.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A highly proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent customer-dealing skills.

Strong numerical and analytical skills, particularly when dealing with costing, invoicing, and data compilation.
