Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for talented Project Engineer - Wet Utilities to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan. This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing hydraulic designs for different types of projects in different design stages.
We envisage success in this role to include:
- Preparing hydraulic networks designs following project s scope.
- Preparing the hydraulic models for the different hydraulic networks (sewer, potable water, irrigation, firefighting, sanitary and storm water).
- Ensuring all calculations are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements.
- Coordinating and giving technical guidance to CAD Technicians / BIM Technicians to produce drawings and models.
- Preparing technical reports and other deliverables.
- Coordinating with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.
Desired Candidate Profile
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering. We welcome all levels of experience, with more than 3 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable.
Furthermore, you should demonstrate:
- Proven experience in the design of hydraulic infrastructures.
- Knowledge in BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experienced in hydraulic design software such as EPANET, SWMM or other equivalent.
- Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
