Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Project Financial Controller is responsible for administering and processing several affairs related to the Financial Department. Mainly Invoicing Management and the project treasury related aspects of Airbus Defence and Space Saudi Ltd. and all affiliated parties. He/She is responsible for managing the timely issuance of the invoices for internal and external customers. He/She is also responsible for the relationship with banks in terms of the coordination for guarantees and letters of credit in line with Airbus Corporate treasury, and improving the relation with the banks for corporate and personal aspects. He/She will coordinate for all topics related to Insurance; projects and corporate level. He/She will communicate with the customers of the various business lines in connection with his/her work.

As part of his /her duties, he/she will have to establish KPI s documented processes for the activities of Projects Financial Department. He/She will work closely with projects responsible, contract managers, accounting and controlling managers and with related local partners and banks. He/She needs to support other financial matters such as VAT reconciliation process and assisting during the corporate audits (external/internal). Ensure compliance with the local tax and legal directives as well as with Airbus guidance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Financial/Management degree (professional certification will be preferred)

  • 3 years of relevant project experience in subject matters. Managing complex and demanding situations, preferably with experience in the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic skills (Native)
  • Several years of experience in the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia or an Arabic country
  • Working level experience in dealing with government bodies and ministries is a must
  • MS Office Excel / SAP
  • Ability to coordinate meetings and effective communication and liaison with various parties
