Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Spearhead the entire project lifecycle for infrastructure projects, from conceptualization to handover, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Oversee and manage project teams, contractors, and consultants, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and quality control checks, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Construction Management preferred).
Previous experience at the CXO, VP, or Director level within a major infrastructure or construction firm.
Substantial experience across three primary pillars: Industrial, Housing, and Energy.
A deep understanding of the African market.
Proficiency in French is required to effectively manage local operations and government relations.
18 - 25 years of experience in project engineering and management, specifically in the
manufacturing industry (Paints, Plastics, FMCG, Agrochemicals, power generation and distribution
etc.).
Strong technical knowledge of project management methodologies, engineering standards, and
industry regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software.
